Where can I get more information on veteran’s loans? My lender says we can’t go “VA” on purchases here in Morgan Hill.

Mike, you’re so right. It makes us mad that someone else didn’t tells BEFORE we used our VA on this house. We could have used the money we spent on that funding fee. Can we get it back from that _____ “lender”?

Those who receive 10% or more disability pay do not have to pay the VA Funding Fee. A veteran discharged early due to medical may qualify for a VA Home loan. If they don’t receive any service disability pay they will have to pay their Funding Fee. It can be included in their loan however. Good question.

Do you know if this applies to those rated by VA as having a 0% Noncompensable service-connected disability?
